Increasing customer demand for service quality, the pressures of competition and fiscal constraint as well as the imperative of maintaining positive employee relations and quality of life at work requires that leaders at all levels be service-oriented, fiscally responsible and effective when communicating with their leaders, peers and members of their work teams.
